We've found my new favorite picnic spot. Just 34 miles from our home we can visit Samuel P. Taylor State Park.
And the best news? They have loads of camping sites! We are so coming back here to camp this summer. So far I have planned for my family to visit this creek for picnics in the Spring, for camping in the Summer, for watching the salmon run in Fall, and for a Winter Solstice fire. This is absolutely my idea of perfect.
