She had made a series of delightful little paper cutouts.
I asked her if she wanted "to talk about them". (my version of "what is it?)
She replied... "Well, they're snowflakes."
Of course they are.
"See how they are all beautiful, small and different from each other? No two are alike."
I do see.
Of course I see.
I also see that my children really really really need to experience real snow.

That is so cute. I wish she could see it. If I wear a dark jacket. and I look close when the snow falls on the jacket I can see the little individual flakes. They are beautiful.
