One of my favorite things to hear:
"Mom, look!  Isn't this interesting?"
Followed with:
"I wonder... (how, why, what, who, where..)?"
And then to find
special treasures tucked away
on shelves,
in jars,
or in baskets
to be saved for future exploration.
It's the magic of
childhood.
