3 year olds
I love the mind of three year olds. I don't always understand their logic, but they are so very entertaining.
Here's two Lego animals that are the newest prize possession of my little guy. He's given each of them a name. First we have "Baxter Bear the Goat. And then we have "Leo, who's name is Horsey" (that's the horse's full name, please don't say it wrong.)
Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
The Height of Bravery
What is the definitive height of bravery these days? I'll tell you. Around here, it's at the third rung on the ladder. And apparently, it's exhilarating.
firsts of the season
The season is changing, and we're celebrating.
First visit from the ice cream man, and the first time we had enough rain for the snails to come out. One fantastic sunny evening.

February's Banner
We made this banner yesterday with water colored hearts.
Each child covered heavy water color paper in bright colors.
(I asked for bright, because that's how I'm feeling right now)
After the paper dried we traced heart shapes on the back side, then cut them out.
We punched two holes in each heart and strung them up on some fluffy white yarn
That's all! Super easy, and super pretty.
looking back at January
January was pretty chill. We tried a bit to find our rhythm again, stayed in most weekends, danced in the rain when it rained, soaked in the warm sun when while it was shining, and even had school in my big king bed a few times. Some of our group seemed to enjoy me showing up with the camera more than others, and like a cat my camera seemed to want the attention of the one who seemed to want it the least.
